My residency worked in collaboration with the mixed-media artist, Siân Hutchinson. Working together, photographing the locations and staff at the County Archives, Conwy library and former staff and pupils of Ysgol Bodlondeb before the old buildings closed and the site of the old school transitioned to become the newly built Culture Centre in Conwy; housing the new County Archives, town library, exhibition and Community room and cafe. We asked former staff and pupils of Ysgol Bodlondeb to select objects that had significant memories or attachment to the time they spent at Bodlondeb School. Memories varied, from stray sheep in the play ground to ‘borrowing’ a small fishing boat from the quay to row to ‘treasure island’ emerged…
